In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a flawless payroll process, managing employee benefits, maintaining our HR systems, and continuously improving HR administration and processes. You will report directly to the HR Director and work closely with our HR & finance teams, and our external payroll partner Crowe.
Your Impact
As our Payroll & Benefits Specialist, you are responsible for the complete payroll and benefits administration for our international organization. You ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, maintain and optimize our HR systems, and provide valuable reporting and insights that support the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the monthly payroll process for approximately 250 employees in the Netherlands and 50 international employees (11 countries; the major countries are; Germany, United Kingdom, Spain and France). In all countries you will work together with a Crowe representative to run the operation smoothly.
- Maintain and optimize payroll and HR administration using Daywize HR and our external payroll partner Crowe.
- Manage employee benefits administration, including insurance and reward-related schemes.
- Work closely with the Finance team on payroll & accounting, invoicing reconciliations and reporting for a smooth process.
- Coordinate and manage employee onboarding and offboarding administration with pension providers, occupational health services, and other employee benefits providers.
- Support and coordinate the annual salary review and bonus process.
- Coordinate HR purchase orders (POs).
- Ensure compliance with Dutch and international payroll legislation and internal policies.
- Continuously improve, simplify and digitalize HR and payroll processes.

Skills & Experience
- Several years of experience in payroll administration, compensation & benefits or HR administration.
- Experience with international payroll is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of Dutch payroll legislation and employment conditions.
- Experience with HR systems, excel and reporting skills, good in Dutch and English preferably.
